How the calculation works
The calculator estimates the electricity drawn from the charger, not only the energy stored in the battery. If a 60 kWh battery is charged from 20% to 80%, 36 kWh must reach the battery. At 90% charging efficiency, about 40 kWh is drawn from the charger. At €0.30 per kWh, that session costs about €12.
